Monica Montgomery Steppe just amended the budget and made sure to include the youth drop in centers!!! She also proposed and added funding to parks, libraries, and many other much needed services. Mt. View and Stockton/Memorial y’all did this!!! You built power together and didn’t take no for an answer. You showed up and fought for your children. You showed up and advocated for yourselves. You refused to be discounted and diminished. You were funded 1-million dollars. Half a million for each drop in center. Let’s build the community you want to see.
